A New User Experience at STRENGTHNET.com

It’s Personal

This is Adam Silver, the Founder and President of STRENGTHNET.com. This website has been a passion of mine since 2000. It’s had it’s ups and downs. Competition from YouTube, a costly, failed redesign back in the mid-2000s and the recession hurting my modeling agency all contributed to rough times for me over many years. I let the old STRENGTHNET.com wither away. It really hurt.

Friends and family encouraged me to get up off my ass and do what I love to do. I love shooting physique and strength athletes, and they seem to really like my work. I started shooting athletes for other companies over the past few years, and athletes are constantly contacting me to shoot. So, here we are. I’m back!

What to Expect

Over the past few years, I’ve shot athletes without releasing the footage or putting the footage together into a completed video. Why did I do this? The old site was very far behind technologically, and I didn’t have the resources to upgrade it. People could easily scrape my content, so I was reluctant to put up my best stuff.

So, what should you expect from the new STRENGTHNET.com?

1. This new site will feature seen and unseen content from the past few years but also feature brand new content posted within a day of being shot. As the site grows, most content will be more of the recent variety.

2. Frequent Updates! Updates in the beginning will be pretty rapid with several updates a week. It will settle down to an update a week at the very least.

Arm Wrestling
Powerlifter Hiram Brewer arm wrestles massive, young bodybuilder, Tyler Cohen.

3. The site will stay focused on strength and physique athletes including bodybuilders, powerlifters, arm wrestlers, strongmen, their workouts, their personal stories, etc. I’ll also feature crazy feats of strength. Who doesn’t want to see a huge, ripped bodybuilder bend a 3/4″ steel bar? What about a bodybuilder taking on an arm wrestler in arm wrestling? Yeah, you’ll see that too.

It’s All about the Athletes

Physique and strength athletes don’t get the coverage that other athletes get in other sports like football, baseball, basketball, etc. I hope that I can give these athletes a platform to show their strength and determination to be the best athletes they can be.

With that all being said, go enjoy the site!

  1. Congrats on the new site, I think its looking great with some exciting new content. Great to see that the site will focus on these athletes actual strength and not just showing guys exercising in the gym. There is a massive misconception amongst many people that bodybuilders are not actually very strong and its just “show muscle”, so its great to see content where bodybuilders can actually showcase not just their physique but also demonstrate their strength too.
