Daniel started training in the gym seriously when he got to his first duty station in the United States Air Force at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. He played sports in high school and wanted to maintain his physique and stay in shape for the military.
One day, Daniel met a guy named Dom on base that had the physique of a “Greek God.” Dom took the time to talk with Daniel about bodybuilding, the lifestyle and everything that went into building his body. Dom told Daniel that he really had a great frame for building muscle and that he had great potential in the sport of bodybuilding.
One major challenge that Daniel had to overcome was negativity from people that didn’t understand the sport of bodybuilding and the lifestyle that goes along with it. These people would try to bring him down. It was hard for him to overcome that negativity, but he did and is prospering from the sport.
