About IFBB Pro Breon Ansley
Breon Ansley started playing sports at the age of seven. Football and track and field were his main sports, especially through college. Back in high school, the football coaches would test your strength using the bench press, squat, deadlift and power clean. Breon prided himself on being the strongest athlete, pound for pound. He played baseball and basketball as well, but they eventually were left by the wayside.
Breon had a great body as a kid and by 13 or 14, he thought about the sport of bodybuilding. In 2011, Breon finished playing Arena Football in Jacksonville, and needed something challenging to do. He was training people and hanging around athletes that were competing in bodybuilding. When he finally decided to do his first show, he only prepared for three weeks. he ended up winning the show. Breon ended up turning pro in 2013 as a middleweight bodybuilder.
In 2014, Breon started competing as a pro bodybuilder. He found that his quick success as an amateur was going to be much harder as a pro. He took off 2015 to put on some size, and by the end of 2015, the NPC/IFBB announced the Classic Physique division.
In 2016, Breon started competing in Classic Physique. He ended up winning first place at the Prestige Crystal Cup. He competed at the Olympia and placed 4th. In 2017, he compete at the IFBB New York Pro and won the show in Classic Physique. Now it’s onto the Olympia later in 2017.
