About IFBB Pro Charles Griffen

Charles Griffen grew up playing sports including baseball, football and track and field. His family was blessed with good genetics and athletic abilities.

When Charles left high school, he no longer was playing any sports and ended up in a rough place in his life. In 2012, his mother passed away, which brought him down lower. He realized that he needed discipline in his life, and he found bodybuilding.

Charles trained just 3 months for his first show, the 2014 Minnesota State Championships. He competed as a light heavyweight and ended up winning the class and the overall. In 2015, Charles won the heavyweight class at the NPC Nationals to win his IFBB Pro Card and became a professional bodybuilder.
