IFBB Pro Simon Ducharme started training at 15 years old, not for sports. His parents saw him gaming too much and got him a gym membership. He was just 110 lbs when he started working out. He met a friend at the gym that was into bodybuilding, so he followed his lead and after a year, he gained 35 lbs.
Simon didn’t compete in bodybuilding until he was 18 years old. He had a rough start. He placed dead last in his first bodybuilding competition. He told himself that the next time he competed, that he would win.
Two years later at the same show, he won the Junior division overall, the Senior division overall and the best poser award. At 23 years old, Simon won his IFBB Pro Card at the 2018 NPC North Americans where he won the heavyweight class.
