Like most young brothers, I wanted to be like my big brother. Being 9 years older than I, he appeared larger than life, especially when he took up bodybuilding and made the quick progress he made. Upon turning 16, he bought my first gym membership, and I had the benefit of not needing to go through the self-teaching process of how to properly use machines or do certain exercises. His 9 years of experience and in-depth research was right there beside me, guiding me each step of the way, correcting any form needing correcting and providing a wealth of knowledge on how to diet for optimal gains.
My early years of lifting were like most other teenagers. I wanted to get bigger and stronger than my friends and get some attention from the girls. It was not until turning 21 that I decided I wanted to pursue bodybuilding and adapt the lifestyle required to be successful. Fast forward to now: I’m in my 6th years bodybuilding and eager to continue stepping on that stage with improved results each time.
With two immigrant parents from Poland, I could not be more proud of my heritage and the hardworking nature Polish men and women encompass. The work ethic and dedication my parents have exhibited in their lives has been embodied through me in my bodybuilding aspirations. If there is one goal I have in this life, it is to make them proud.
